I started working with dogs in 2004, when I attended Military Working Dog School at Lackland Air Base. A few months later I deployed to Afghanistan with my MWD. My main task was to work the baggage line for incoming and outgoing flights with my MWD. I have handled patrol/detection dogs for 16 years.

Marty Lepird

Marty is a retired Sergeant with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. He spent seventeen years assigned to the canine unit where he served as a handler, trainer and training supervisor. He has worked for Adlerhorst since 2017 and currently conducts the monthly maintenance training and annual certifications for patrol in Northern California.
Quinn Hanlye

Quin Hanley is a Marine Veteran has been a police officer for over 15 year. Quinn has been a dog handler for 5 years and is currently working a dual purpose patrol/narcotic detection dog and is the SWAT K9 handler for his agency's tactical unit. He has trained patrol, narcotics and explosives detection dogs. Quinn currently works the patrol monthly Maintenance Training.
Tom Fidel

Tom Fidel has been in law enforcement for over twenty five years. He currently works as a dual purpose canine handler for an agency in San Diego County. Tom has been a handler for more than fifteen years and has worked three police canines. He has been a patrol, narcotics, and explosive dog handler. He currently works the patrol and detection monthly training for San Diego County.
Tom Brown

Tom Brown Tom Brown has worked for the Pasadena Police Department for the last twenty-four years. Tom worked as a decoy for five years before becoming a canine handler. Tom worked a cross-trained patrol dog for nine years. He has worked for Adlerhorst since 2008 after completing the Post Evaluators Course. Tom works as a Post Evaluator for patrol and narcotic re-certification classes. Tom is currently working monthly narcotic maintenance and the Basic Narcotic Classes.
